Anusha Vasantha Rajan loves living in Shaftesbury, so when she decided to start her own business she wanted it to fulfil a need in the community, as well as make use of her qualifications as a carer.

What Anusha noticed was that there was a lack of transport services in the north Dorset area, and it was difficult to find taxis available. So, she drafted in some drivers and set up ASAP Taxis. We’re now proud to have a reputation for providing friendly and considerate transportation in Shaftesbury and the surrounding areas like Gillingham, Mere, Marnhull, Motcombe, Bourton, Blandford Forum and Sturminster Newton.

At ASAP Taxis we are pleased to offer a range of 24-hour taxi services in North Dorset, including airport, ferry port and city transfers; local hops to and from pubs, restaurants, clubs, events, sports meetings and so on; travel to hospital and medical appointments; and school runs. Our drivers are specially qualified, equipped and experienced (personally and professionally) at transporting children with special needs and or disabilities, such as Autism, ADHD and learning difficulties. We’re also well able to look after vulnerable adults and people with dementia.

We have male and female drivers available with enhanced DBS checks, also a Level 3 NVQ in care and first aid qualifications.
